The Albuquerque, NM based Hellion Power Systems had the S197 Mustang covered when it came two twin turbocharger systems, offering up kits for the Mustang GT, Boss 302 and Shelby GT500. They’ve lost no time in coming up with a system for the 2015 Mustang GT as well, and have debuted their new Eliminator twin-turbo system for the car at the SEMA Show this week.
The heart of the Eliminator system is a pair of precision billet 62mm turbochargers which are fed by a large vertical flow dual inlet intercooler. Hellion says that the system doesn’t require any cutting of the body, which makes installation easier.
So how much power do the twin turbochargers make? Hellion claims the system is capable of producing anywhere from 600 to 1,200 horsepower depending on boost. We aren’t surprised, given some of their previous testing.
